Arsenal have set their sights on the highly-rated LOSC Lille forward Nicolas Pepe, that’s according to the reports from the French outlet Le 10 Sport.

The same source states that the Gunners have already informed the Ligue 1 side, as well as, the player entourage about their interest in bringing the 23-year-old starlet to the Emirates Stadium.

Pepe, who scored three goals in eight appearances for Ivory Coast, has been impressive in the French championship last season, drawing the attention from several major European clubs, but now Arsenal’s interest seems to be the most concrete one.

Emery plans to continue Ozil rotation at Arsenal

Manager Unai Emery intends to continue his policy of rotating Mesut Ozil after making only his third appearance for Arsenal in 2019.

Due to weak displays from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi, Unai Emery is forced to splash out some money on the market to find a player able to feed Aubameyang and Lacazette in the final third.

The long tradition of prosperous youngsters arriving at the North London could prolong if Emery manages to persuade the former Angers man to leave France for England.
