Arsenal reaches out to see if Luis Enrique is interested in replacing Unai Emery at the Emirates Stadium.
The life expectancy of Unai Emry’s tenure as Arsenal manager is decreasing rapidly.
Power brokers at the North London club are actively seeking a potential replacement, should the fateful decision to pull the plug be made.
Many believe that it’s not a matter of if, but when Emry’s reign as Arsenal boss is brought to an end.
According to the Metro, Arsenal’s head of football Raul Sanllehi has met with Enrique to determine the level of interest he has in moving to England.
Enrique has a fantastic resume, including successful spells at Barcelona and the Spanish national team.
It is unclear whether Enrique would even be interested in the Gunners project.
Especially since there is every possibility of his old position at his beloved Barcelona opening up soon.
