According to the famous newspaper, Sky Sports, the Premier League giants, Arsenal, will face-off against Qarabag in the Europa League without four significant first-team players.

Petr Cech suffered a hamstring injury against Watford last weekend that forced Emery to introduce Bernd Leno already in the first half.

It has already been known Henrikh Mkhitaryan won’t be traveling to Baku with the rest of the squad due to political problems between his native Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“He can’t travel here. We are here with the players with the best preparation to play them tomorrow,” the former PSG boss said when asked about Mkhitaryan’s absence.

Additionally, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Aaron Ramsey are also set to skip Thursday’s showdown, as both jumped to jet-off with their teammates.

According to Emery, the 29-year-old forward has some health issues, which prevented him from taking a trip, while the Welsh star asked for an exemption as he and his wife are expecting a child.

“Aubameyang was sick, he can’t play. Aaron asked me if he could stay in London because his wife is pregnant, and they are waiting.”

The Gunners crashed Vorskla Poltava in the Europa League opener by four goals to two, while Qarabag suffered a 2-0 loss to Sporting Lisbon, as Emery hopes to see his team securing another victory that would cement them on top of the group.
