Mikel Arteta feels Wilfried Zaha will display nothing short of his best performance against his side in the upcoming match.

Arsenal will take a domestic trip to the other side of London as they go up against Crystal Palace in their next Premier League outing.

And Mikel Arteta has singled out the importance of Wilfried Zaha in the Crystal Palace lineup. Arteta expects the Ivory Coast international to light up the pitch as always and feels he will have just the right motivation to be on his best.

“I always see Wilf motivated against the big teams and ready to make an impact,” Arteta said on the club’s official website.

“He doesn’t need that [further motivation].

“He has attention from the media and everyone realizes how good he’s been. I don’t expect anything different against us.

“I always find him dangerous, the last few times we played. When he played against Arsenal recently, always a threat.”

Wilfred Zaha is linked with a move away from Selhurst Park lately. Bayern Munich and Arsenal are the top candidates to sign him with Tottenham emerging as the most recent ones.

With Arteta lauding the 27-year old, a move to the Emirates might look closer for him.
