Aubameyang bagged a brace for Arsenal as the Gunners edged out Everton by a 3-2 scoreline in the Premier League this evening.
Aubameyang sealed it off as Arsenal came out on top in a five-goal thriller against Everton at the Emirates.
That win also meant the North London side remain the only unbeaten Premier League team this year in all competitions as per Squawka.
It started out badly for the Gunners as in form Dominic Calvert-Lewin opened the scoring for Everton after just 49 seconds with an impressive acrobatic effort.
Not long later, Eddie Nketiah levelled with just his second Premier League goal from early sub Bukayo Saka’s brilliant cross.
Aubameyang then put Arsenal ahead with a neat finish inside the box before Richarlison levelled matters in the last minute of stoppage time in the first half.
Clearly, defensive solidarity wasn’t the order of the day.
Arsenal took just 22 seconds to regain the lead in the second half.
And it was that man Aubameyang again with a header. Calvert-Lewin had two late chances for Everton but couldn’t convert as the game ended in the Gunners favour.
The result means Arsenal leapfrog Everton into ninth, and are now four points behind fifth placed United and seven behind fourth placed Chelsea.
For Aubameyang, the brace saw him take his league tally to 17 goals..becoming the joint-top scorer in the league alongside Jamie Vardy.
