Arsenal stalwart Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has dropped an ‘unintentional’ hint over his future by ‘liking’ an Instagram post.

Aubameyang has been a subject of wild rumors over the past few months, particularly in light of his contractual stalemate at Arsenal.

The 31-year-old forward will drop into the free-agent pool at the end of the 2020/21 season unless the Gunners persuade him to put pen to paper on a new contract before then.

Several notable European clubs, including Barcelona, Manchester United, and Inter Milan, have taken an interest in the prolific striker going into the summer transfer window.

Well aware of the Gabonese’s ‘killer instincts,’ many teams would like to have him on their side, especially if he comes on cheap.

Indeed, with about ten months left on his contract at the Emirates, Aubameyang would not command a massive transfer fee should Arsenal opt for a sale.

But, recent reports in England have indicated the parties are on the brink of extending their co-operation for another three years, and Aubameyang may have just confirmed that.

One of Arsenal’s eagle-eye supporters spotted an Instagram post picturing the Gunners skipper followed by a compelling description catching Aubameyang’s reaction.

Indeed, former Borussia Dortmund star liked an Instagram post by ‘thearsenalgalaxy‘ that had his graphic and read: “Introducing your Arsenal 2019/20 Player of the Season, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang!

“29 goals and 3 assists, it’s been a fantastic season for the Gabon international.

“Now let’s just hope he can da ting…”

Quick-silver forward has only recently reassured everyone of his importance to Arsenal by single-handedly beating Chelsea in the FA Cup final.

Aubameyang’s brace in Arsenal’s 2-1 victory at Wembley brought the Londoners much-needed Europa League qualification.
