Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joined Arsenal in January of 2017/18 season to try and help the team transition to the post-Wenger phase.
In the “Emery years”, inconsistency and turmoil took over at Arsenal.
The team ended up in Europa League, and this season doesn’t show any signs of progress.
However, Aubameyang was the only consistent performer in the rough period for the Gunners.
The Gabonese striker even earned the captain’s armband after Xhaka lost the honor.
It seems as if problems are simply paired up with Arsenal these years.
Arsenal Fan TV got popular mostly by ranting after Arsenal losses in recent seasons.
The issue, according to The Athletic, is that Aubameyang is regularly talking to AFTV people, even gifting them with tickets for Arsenal matches.
This report didn’t sit well with the Gabonese striker.
It took less that a week for the curse of Arsenal’s captaincy to start causing controversy regarding Aubameyang. pic.twitter.com/NLmqHeAKsO

He published an Instagram story, calling the reports “bulls***”.
Even though such reports are frustrating, the captain should know better than arguing the media online.
