Welsh superstar Gareth Bale believes he’s not very happy at Real Madrid right now, but he says he’s keeping a professional attitude.
But in the end, he will stay with Los Blancos for at least the next six months, and although he’s not “at his happiest” he says he is still a professional footballer.
“I wouldn’t say I’m playing happy,” Bale was quoted by Marca.
“But when I am playing I am professional and always giving all I can, whether that be for club or country.”
He explained: “I’m sure there’ll be plenty more turbulence.”
“I suppose it’s something you’ll have to speak to Real about and it’s between me and them.”
“We’ll have to come to some sort of conclusion,” he commented.
“I know there was a lot of talks.”
“With people saying the good, bad, or whatever they wanted,” he said.
“Things in football can turn quickly and it’s just a matter of time.”
“It wasn’t the worst time of my career, it’s not been ideal but I know how to deal with it,” he concluded.
