Brazilian legend Rivaldo insists Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale is too good for the MSL and a move to Newcastle United would be great for him.

Welsh winger Gareth Bale’s future at Real Madrid is still very much hanging in the balance.

The player insists he plans to see out his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu. While the club admittedly tried to ditch the player last summer.

Bale recently admitted that the opportunity to play in America with an MLS franchise like David Beckham’s Inter Miami interests him.

However, speaking to Betfair, the Barcelona and Brazil legend Rivaldo insists Bale still has too much to offer to go and wind down his career stateside.

He said:

“There are rumours that Gareth Bale is being offered to MLS clubs.”

“I think he has something left to show in European football at 30-years-old.”

“I believe his career at Real Madrid is coming to an end.”

“His chances in the starting 11 will be limited, plus the club no longer trusts him to be a decisive player after some internal problems in the last few years.”

“For that reason, leaving Real Madrid seems highly probable.”

“But he should continue in Europe for at least two or three more years and perhaps moving to the Premier League would be the best option for him now.”

“Newcastle should receive a big-money injection this summer with a new owner coming to town.”

“It would be a great chance for him to prove he is still a top-class player and be considered again one of the best in the world.”

Newcastle would not be the only Premier League side interested in signing Bale. The list of pros for him to return where it all began for him far out way the reasons for him to go elsewhere.
