German legend Michael Ballack, explained why he believes that Eden Hazard needs to be more demanding towards Chelsea if he wants to leave.

The situation between Chelsea and Eden Hazard is reaching a point where the player is starting to get a little frustrated, club legend Michael Ballack already noticed this and wanted to send the Belgian forward a message.

Just this Wednesday, manager Maurizio Sarri came after the player by stating that he is not a leader as a way to push him to make a decision about his future.

But Hazard doesn’t want to precipitate anything until Real Madrid makes a move that ultimately convinces him to choose, Michael Ballack doesn’t agree with this behavior because he thinks the fans are the ones who are suffering the most with this whole situation.

Eden Hazard is easily the best Chelsea player since Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba left the institution, which is why Ballack considers that the Blues fans have grown quite fond of the Belgian winger and the least he can do is to be straight with them.

If Hazard wants to leave the club, all he needs to do is tell the board members and they can make it happen. Playing games is something that a veteran like Michael Ballack never appreciated.

“Eden Hazard has to decide if he wants to stay or not,” he told Omnisport via Four Four Two.

“He’s not only an outstanding player at Chelsea but also in the Premier League. Now, he has to decide if he wants to play at an ultimate, top club. That’s what he’s already communicated from time to time.”

“In my opinion, he is a little bit too calm, especially at Chelsea. There, he should be more demanding and expressing of his wishes. He can do that because he is in an outstanding position. If he wants to win more titles with Chelsea, something has to happen, otherwise Eden Hazard will think about looking for another opportunity.”

The German former player also analyzed the club’s recent form under the Italian manager: “Maurizio Sarri is also from Italy, like former coach Antonio Conte. As we know, Italians focus on discipline and an organized style of play but at the beginning I had the feeling that they want to play a little bit more offensive and creative,” he added.

“He is a very relaxed guy who started well, although Chelsea lost some important and easy games now. In the Premier League, that’s dangerous because you lose sight of teams like Liverpool and Manchester City who have a big and well-balanced squad. Then you suddenly suffer a 10-point deficit, which is difficult to cut.”

Opinion: Messi gets back to his best with perfect timing

After leading FC Barcelona to a crucial win at Sevilla, Lionel Messi can finally rest easy because he got back to his best form...

“I don’t see any players in the team who really want to attack the top of the table. For the manager, it’s difficult to add quality to the squad. As I said, the squad is good but not good enough for the top.”

There is still nothing written in stone about Eden Hazard’s future, Real Madrid keeps remaining silent and it kinda looks like president Florentino Perez doesn’t really want to buy the Belgian winger from Chelsea.

The player keeps getting mixed signals from the Spanish press and he keeps talking about his burning desire to sign for Los Blancos, but he still doesn’t tell Chelsea what he really wants.

This situation is getting tiring for everybody, but mostly for the Chelsea fans because they have a lot of uncertainty about their best player’s future in the club.

If Eden Hazard doesn’t decide for himself soon, the whole situation will become uncomfortable for the club and he will have to leave next year for no money because his contract expires exactly one year from now.

Chelsea obviously prefers to sell him now, but Real Madrid also remains silent. We will report anything that happens as soon as we get some news on the matter.
