Let’s take a look at France Football’s nominees for this year’s Ballon d’Or awards.

France Football have unveiled their list of nominees for the 2022 Ballon d’Or awards.

Following a controversial 2021 ceremony that saw Lionel Messi claiming his seventh Ballon d’Or, the French publication decided to make a change in the way players are judged.

This year, the journalists have voted based on the last season’s performances instead of the calendar year.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who became Manchester United’s top-scorer last season, has made the shortlist for the 18th time.

Let’s check out all the nominees from different categories of the Ballon d’Or awards.
