Eric Abidal has confirmed that Barcelona are still open to bringing Neymar to the Camp Nou.

Neymar moved to Barcelona in the summer of 2013. The Brazillian formed a deadly partnership with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez becoming part of one of the best trio of modern football, aka ‘MSN.’

After making his name in Spain, Neymar moved to France in the hope of becoming the central player for his team. PSG signed Neymar for a world-record fee of €222 million.

But once again, the Brazillian is being linked with a move back to the Catalans. Recently, AS reports, Eric Abidal has revealed that Barcelona is open to bringing back the PSG number-10. Abidal labelled Neymar as a ‘top player’ and said he carries the Barcelona philosophy with him.

“He is a top player with the Barcelona philosophy and is playing at a very high level. Neymar will always be an option,” Abidal said.

“After that, on a sporting level, we will make decisions. And because of the financial issues some things are possible and others aren’t.

“If he continues playing at the same level, because it’s a long season, then I’m not going to say he’ll be the number-one target. But he’ll be a definite option,” Eric Abidal added.
