In order to finance a move for Neymar, Barcelona are looking to sell Ousmane Dembele whose career at the club has never really take off.
Ousmane Demebele is perhaps Barcelona’s biggest bargaining chips in the summer transfer window. The club is waiting for the official signing of Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid. However, this is not the only movement that is expected. The club is also interested in Lautaro Martinez with the Argentine dazzling the world with his exceptional displays at the Copa America.
Neymar is at the heart of more discussions at this time. The Brazil international wants to return to Camp Nou. What was thought impossible just a few weeks ago, has suddenly become very likely. Paris Saint-Germain are also willing to listen to offers for Neymar who missed Copa America due to an ankle injury.
In order to make so many signings, the La Liga champions needs to make room first. And it appears that Ousmane Dembele would be a bargaining chip for any club whose player Barca want. Initially, the former Borussia Dortmund man was supposed to be going the other way once Neymar returned. However, the likes of Tottenham are also interested in the winger.
Bayern Munich are in dire need of a winger and would be considering making a move for Ousmane Dembele according to Kicker.
Barcelona want to get rid of the former Stade Rennais man and have been offering him to any club who would be interested in him. The player’s sale is going to recover around 100 million Euros and that would finance a move for either Griezmann or Neymar.
The Frenchman has been very disappointing since arriving at the club a couple of years ago. Promised to be a key figure at Camp Nou, injuries and inconsistency has plagued Dembele and this summer would be a great chance for him to start fresh.
