Both semifinals have been played in Nyon, at the Colovray Sports Centre. Firstly, Barcelona, who have won the competition in 2014, faced Salzburg, who has never got this far in the competition, and the Austrian team managed to overturn a one-goal deficit, after highly-rated youngster Jordi Mboula (19’) opened the score for the Catalans. Hannes Wolf (63’) and Zaka Patson (84’) at his debut scored Salzburg’s goals to send their team into the final.

In the second game, Benfica managed to win 4-2 against Real Madrid. Joao Felix (5’, 19’) and Joao Felipe (17’, 90+6’) were Benfica’s goalscorers, while Dani Gomez (28’) and Jaime Seoane (55’) scored for Real Madrid.

The final of Uefa Youth League, Benfica – Red Bull Salzburg, will be played in Nyon, Monday at 17:00 CET.
