Loren Moron is 99% certain to be staying at Real Betis as Barcelona refuses to meet the club’s asking price for the player.

Barcelona’s search for a striker to replace Ousmane Dembele goes on. They have failed to agree on a deal with Real Betis for Loren.

Betis Coach Rubi is comfortable that the player will stay and give his best efforts to the Betis cause. That is despite the possibility of a dream move to Catalonia has been blocked by the club.

This comes after Barcelona refused to meet the financial demands of the club. It is understood that Barca offered 15 million Euros.

The player’s buyout clause is 50 million and it’s understood that the club was willing to accept 30 million as a compromise.

In an interview reported by Goal, Betis coach Rubi clarified the situation.

He said:

“Loren is going to end the season with Betis.”

“They have asked, but the operation is 99 percent not done.”

“We don’t want him to leave and they have looked at many [players].”

“Loren trains just as well as always.”

“This is something that happens in football.”

“We couldn’t sign another player unless his release clause is paid. Loren’s €50 million, so 99 percent it is not done.”

“The information I have is that he is [staying] here and that is what we all want.”

The search for a striker goes on.
