Martin Ortega has aired his frustration after seeing an important player make the switch to Barcelona in the course of the season.
Braithwaite might be solving a lot of issues for Barcelona but for Leganes it is quite the opposite.
Being such an integral player to them with his goals and now unable to sign his replacement means his departure is an ‘unfair’ one.
And now Leganes general director Martin Ortega has voiced out on the move saying it is a bit biased by the La Liga.
“We consider that there is a regulation that is unfair, from which Barcelona has benefited. The one who is damaged by this is Leganes,” Ortega told reporters via Goal.
It hurts more for Leganes that they are 19th on the log standings and the presence of Braithwaite was hope for them in terms of goals.
It’s a matter of hopes crushed as the 28-year-old couldn’t resist a move to Barcelona. Braithwaite is also expected to make his Barcelona debut on Saturday.
