Leroy Sane is going to remain the focus of the Bavarians’ attentions all summer as the club looks to mount fresh assault.
Leroy Sane had fallen behind the pecking order at Manchester City with the likes of Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva getting the nod last season.
However, that did not stop the youngster from registering 10 goals and 10 assists in 31 games as the Citizens lifted the Premier League title.
Bayern Munich have been very eager to sign Leory Sane even though City aren’t interested in selling. The club’s players are also keen on welcoming the winger with Serge Gnabry in particular being vocal about his thoughts.
And it appears that the club has no plans of ending their interest in Leroy Sane. According to manager Niko Kovac, Bayern Munich are doing everything they can in order to sign the German international.
Reports claim that Sane is also eager to return to his homeland with a move to Allianz Arena not out of reach.
While speaking to Sport Bild, Kovac claims that the club’s hierarchy has already shown Leroy Sane what to expect.
“Our bosses have shown him a clear plan. We are very focused, Leroy knows what to expect here, and when a player with such capacity comes to FC Bayern, he knows his job.
“You can see that the transfer is not easy. But I know that our people are working very hard to make it happen. We will do everything to realise this transfer.
“We all know that Leroy Sane is our dream player. The public knows that, we know that.”
With Franck Ribery already gone and Arjen Robben announcing his retirement this summer, the club is desperate to land at least one winger. And in Leroy Sane they will get themselves a young player whose output in crucial games cannot be questioned.
