Bayern Munich director Karl Heinz Rummenigge confirms Bayern Munich’s new stance on summer transfer targets.

Football across the world is currently on hold indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. Bayern Munich just like any other club is unsure what the future holds right now.

We are seeing many of Europe’s elite negotiating reduced salaries with their players.

There appears to be no doubt that the current situation leaves football in a very precarious position.

In an interview with TMZ, Rummenige is certain the impact will change the landscape of football, especially transfers.

The Bayern director confirmed that his club are putting anything new on hold until the club has a better idea of what the future holds.

He said:

“Nobody knows exactly how the crisis will change football in the coming weeks.”

“This is why we have interrupted all negotiations for new incoming players.”

“I can already envision that the wages and transfer fees will be re-evaluated by clubs in Europe”

“We are only talking with the players that have expiring deals in 2021 like Neuer, Mueller, Thiago, and Alaba”

Strong words from one of the richest clubs on the planet.
