Leroy Sane has the ability to improve any team and Bayer Munich are very much interested in signing him, admits Herbert Hainer.

An anterior cruciate ligament injury during the Community Shield match between Manchester City and Liverpool has prevented Leroy Sane from taking part in the entirety of this season so far.

Sane’s untimely injury was reportedly also the reason why his departure to Bayern Munich last August was called off.

The German international, however, has continued to be linked with Bayern. And the rumors have become even more intense as of late with him having recovered from his injury.

He only has a year left on his Man City contract and, according to speculations, is putting off signing a contract extension.

Those associated with the German champions have never been shy of expressing their desire to bring the former Schalke man back to Bundesliga And now the club’s president Herbert Hainer has further stirred the rumors.

“Leroy Sane is a good player that every team would like to have,” Hainer told BR [via Bein Sports].

“It has been known for a year now that we have been interested. He is still under contract with Man City. We have to see how things develop.”
