Leroy Sane is still a top priority on Bayern Munich’s summer wish-list and the German outfit are now preparing a swap-deal to convince City to sell.
Bayern Munich have reportedly proposed a swap deal to finally secure the signature of Leroy Sane.
The German has been a long term target of the Bundesliga outfit and was close to a move last summer but for an injury that saw him spend six months on the sidelines.
Sane is still very much highly rated at Manchester City and the Citizens have reportedly rejected many of Bayern’s offers and would only consider something very mutually beneficial to both clubs.
With that in mind, Bayern are now considering a swap deal that will see Alaba move to City and Sane move the other way, as per BILD via FourFourTwo. Real Madrid and Barcelona are also said to be interested in the versatile Austrian.
Alaba’s agent Pini Zahavi has proposed the idea to City, who are willing to take it into consideration.
The duo of Sane and Alaba both have contracts running until 2021 and could make a reasonable deal as both players could end up leaving for free next summer.
Bayern need a boost in attacking options and City also needed defensive additions, making the deal a win-win situation should it happen.
Sane has only made one appearance for City this season in the Community Shield back in August, whereas Alaba has featured regularly for Bayern, scoring one goal in 28 appearances across all competitions
