On the back of his least productive season with Real Madrid, Karim Benzema has only fueled the speculation surrounding his uncertain future after posting a special message to commemorate his ninth anniversary at the club
The French forward only managed to score 11 goals in a total of 45 appearances for Los Blancos last term and is heavily expected to leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer following Zinedine Zidane’s departure in May.
In a special message, that Benzema posted himself to celebrate his ninth anniversary at Real, the player hinted that his days at the club are coming to an end.
“Nine years ago I first wore the Real Madrid shirt, thanks to the President, the whole club and the players and all the coaches with whom I met along the way. I’ve been proud to defend the club badge and am eternally grateful always #HalaMadrid”, he wrote.
Benzema has recently been linked with a reunion with former manager Carlo Ancelotti at Napoli for next season.
