Eden Hazard thinks that teammate Karim Benzema is the best striker in the world given his current form.
The Real Madrid striking duo are having very different seasons.
Hazard, is supposed to be the newer younger more prolific striker Real have been in search of since the departure of Ronaldo.
However, the 28-year-old Belgian international has managed just one goal in 11 games for them.
He has been in sensational form and netted 11 times in 15 games.
The pair apparently have a very good relationship.
According to an interview reported by Marca, the struggling Hazard has nothing but great things to say about his strike partner.
“After having played with him for three or fourth months, I think that, right now, he’s the best striker in the world.”
“But [also] away from his role as a striker, he makes others better.”
“It’s always easier to play against a team that doesn’t have Benzema in it.”
Benzema has played the second fiddle striker for so long, he has often been tagged as the most underappreciated forward.
