Besiktas president Fikret Orman announced the club intends to sign Loris Karius on a permanent deal from Liverpool
The German goalkeeper ended a two-year stay at Anfield this summer for a loan move to Besiktas after Liverpool signed Alisson Becker from AS Roma.
Karius agreed on a two-year loan deal, which could become a permanent one in 2020.
However, Fotomac claimed that the Turkish club were losing patience with Karius and wanted to end his stay with them.
But Orman denied this as “complete nonsense”.
“Karius is an excellent keeper,” Orman told Harberle.
“God willing we will sign him on a permanent transfer. These stories are complete nonsense.
“Give Karius some time is all I’m saying. Karius has a lot of work to do but give him time.”
Karius has only kept one clean sheet in 11 appearances for Besiktas this season with 16 goals conceded.
