GK – David Seaman
Many here could argue that Jens Lehmann or maybe even Petr Cech should be in goal. They would have a fair point, with both goalkeepers performing well for Arsenal in their respective careers.
But Seaman played an integral part of Arsenal’s history and is, without doubt, one of the club’s greatest shot-stoppers.
The famous finger-tip save from Paul Peschisolido during an FA Cup clash in 2003 was probably his best-ever. And he later captained the Gunners to the title in what was his final season.
