One of the most prolific finishers in Manchester United’s history, Ruud van Nistelrooy joined the Red Devils in 2001 and scored 150 goals during his five-year spell at Old Trafford – an average of 30 goals per season.

He became the first Dutchman to be named as the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year, winning the award two years in a row in 2002 and 2003.
