Blind dropped for national squad

The Red Devils’ defender was not called by Ronald Koeman for the friendly in England and Portugal.

The Netherland’s newly-appointed manager Ronald Koeman has decided to bring in a number of new names to the squad, while a well-known name from the team was left out.

Daley Blind, Manchester United’s left-back, was not named as part of the 25-man squad due to the fact that he has played only three games for the Red Devils this season and has been out since January with an ankle injury.

Meanwhile, Koeman insisted that he will make rotations to the squad that failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup by bringing in a number of uncapped players to show they are capable of.
