Sergi Roberto has handed Barcelona a injury blow as he’s set to be out of action for at least three to four weeks.
Barcelona have revealed that Sergi Roberto has suffered a muscle injury in the adductor of his right thigh.
And with that, he’s set to miss out for at least three to four weeks of action as per a report from the club’s website.
Meaning he would be absent for games against the likes of Napoli, Real Madrid and Real Sociedad.
It also means that Sergi Roberto would be absent for Spain in their penultimate international break before the EURO games in the summer.
The 28-year-old was part of Setien’s plans and his absence means Nelson Semedo would feature at right-back for the next three weeks or so.
Since the start of the season, Sergi Roberto has been a regular figure in the Barca lineup and the Catalan side would be hoping his injury doesn’t escalate.
