The Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director is delighted that AC Milan has finally found their left winger in Ante Rebic.
Ante Rebic joined AC Milan this summer in exchange for Andre Silva.
And Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Fredi Bobic believes the Rossoneri must be very happy to have him in the squad.
“Boban knew I’d been interested in Andre Silva for about a month, but the actual negotiations began just three days before the market closed,” he told Gazzetta Dello Sport.
“It’s always useful to know each other and maintain relationships, I’d say yes, that facilitated negotiations.”
He added: “It’s never easy to find a solution when time is against you, but luckily Boban and Maldini are both excellent professionals.”
“Together we found the best agreement, in the interests of both clubs. Rebic will be an important player, I’m more than sure about that.”
“He was a leading light for us during a couple of incredible seasons. I wish him well, but I know he’ll do well for them,” he said.
“The best position for him is left-winger, but he can also play very well as a second striker.”
He explained: “Ante is very strong physically and, for that reason alone, a coach hardly gives upon him.”
“He has technical quality, he’s equally adept with both feet and his pace makes him unstoppable.”
Hard-working, creative and lethal.
