It appears that Carlos Tevez and Boca Juniors have put their differences aside as the club confirm they have offered the forward a new contract.

Boca Juniors and Carlos Tevez have appeared to be on a collision course for the past few months.

With recently appointed club hierarchy members like president Jorge Amor Ameal and vice president, Juan Roman Riquelme determined to force the former Manchester United star out of the club.

It now appears after Tevez played an important role in helping Boca clinching the Argentine title, they have been convinced that he can help them reclaim the Copa Libertadores too.

The club announced on Twitter that the contract was with the player.

Tevez himself has since responded and confirmed he will stay and help the Boca Juniors cause for at least another year.

According to Goal he said:

“I am going to continue, of course, I want another chance to win the Libertadores.”
