Leonardo Bonucci has revealed that Juventus players are trying to get Cristiano Ronaldo back to his best.
Cristiano Ronaldo was not included in the Juventus squad Atlanta following his injury. The Portuguese forward suffered a knee discomfort for which he was kept sidelined.
But a few days back, Ronaldo confirmed through his Instagram post that he had fully recovered. The number-7 also featured in Juventus’ latest match against Atletico Madrid.
Despite his inclusion in the squad, Leonardo Bonucci claimed that their star man is yet to regain his prime health. The 32-year old highlighted Ronaldo’s importance to the team. While Bonucci also said that all the players at Juventus were trying to help him to recover.
“This month physically he is not at the top. But a team when they see Ronaldo on the pitch already begin to tremble,” Bonucci said as per Calciomercato.
“He’s an added value, then there are the other two that are great. Now we enjoy them hoping that the whole squad will be at the top from March onwards.
“Helping Ronaldo? We are doing it, trying to be totally available to his strengths because doing well we can exalt his gifts.” the Italian defender revealed.
