With Harry Kane getting a full season under his belt, the Three Lions have been tipped to continental glory ahead of Belgium and France.

Apart from aberrations across the globe, there is no football anywhere. The Copa America has been postponed, so has been the European Championships. The Olympic Games too are unlikely to take place.

The beautiful game’s top international competitions have been postponed. The 2021 summer is the earliest these competitions will take place.

While fans despair, the postponement might work in favor of some teams. Harry Kane is one such player. And Gareth Southgate a relieved man.

Southgate does not have another forward to replace his captain. His problems will be alleviated with Jamie Vardy willing to come out of retirement.

And it is this change in events that has led bookmakers to reconsider their odds for Euro 2021 favorites. England are tipped as favorites for the summer event next year, with Belgium, France and Netherlands completing the quartet.

Croatia miss out

Following on from the semi-final stage of 2018 World Cup, Croatia misses out while the other three semi-finalists make the cut.

Luka Modric and co. might be on the wrong side of 30’s but fans have not seen a drop in his performances. However, the odds has more to do with dwindling fortunes of Ivan Rakitic and Mario Mandzukic.

England made it to the semi-finals of FIFA World Cup and are priced at 5.00 to end their drought. They are followed closely by Belgium and France with odds of 6.00 and 7.00, respectively.

Bookies also believe that Netherlands have an outside chance of challenging the English, French and Belgian golden generations. The Dutch are priced at 7.50 by bookmakers.

However, it is remarkable to see Portugal so far down the list at 17.00. With Cristiano Ronaldo finishing the qualification stages in an emphatic fashion and closing in on record tally for goals. They are the dark horses and their odds offers value.
