Inter Milan midfielder Borja Valero says criticism is natural after they failed to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages.

Inter are still reeling from the shock of their Champions League exit on Tuesday as they failed to beat PSV and qualify, and Valero says they must beat Udinese to get back to winning ways.

“A win would be important today, especially on a psychological level, so we’ll try to push hard from the start,” Valero said, as quoted by Football Italia.

“We’ve got to be prepared to put what happened behind us and get back to winning ways.”

Third-placed Inter Milan host Udinese on Saturday night at the San Siro and will hope to win and put pressure on Juventus and Napoli who sit comfortably above them in the Serie A.
