Bournemouth head coach Eddie Howe is impressed with his full back player Adam Smith who has been outstanding with his performance ever since his return.
Adam Smith engaged in all 90 minutes of Cherries’ 2-0 defeat at Everton on Sunday, a match after his return from two months knee injury recovery break.
“Adam came back and performed really well. I was really pleased with him,” Howe told the Daily Echo as quoted in Bournemouthecho.
“He has been doing a lot of fitness work and a lot of running, although not the amount of ball work he would normally like.
“That fitness work he had done showed because he didn’t look rusty in any way.
“At one stage we feared his injury would keep him out until February or March but, thankfully, he felt really good and was able to come back earlier.”
On the other hand, another Bournemouth youngster Tyrell Hamilton has joined Salisbury on loan until the end of the season. He had come as a substitute in the Whites’ 3-1 defeat to Blackfield & Langley in the Southern League Challenge Cup last Tuesday.
