The English club agreed to pay Spanish side Levante 25 million Pounds to acquire the services of the midfielder

After some intensive negotiating, and with Levante putting a 25 million Pounds price tag for Jefferson Lerma, the Colombian has agreed to play in Bournemouth.

The signing of the 23-year-old was made official on AFC Bournemouth’s website.

The Colombian has signed a five-year deal with the English club.

The deal is the most expensive ever done by the Premier League club.

“I’m so happy to be an AFC Bournemouth player,” said Lerma.

“The transfer has been very long because it took a while for the clubs to reach an agreement, but the most important thing is that I am here now and everyone got what they wanted in the end,” he added.

“I have always loved the Premier League style of football and am very happy to have this opportunity.”

“I am looking forward to success and doing important things for this club.”
