It took Brahim Diaz only a couple of days to make his expected debut with Real Madrid, it was against Leganes in Copa del Rey on Wednesday.

It was just last Monday when Spanish midfielder Brahim Diaz was presented as Real Madrid’s most recent transfer, he made his debut only two days later during the Copa del Rey match against Leganes in front of a half-full Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

The excitement to watch Los Blancos this Wednesday wasn’t all there, but the people who did visit the stadium had the opportunity to watch Brahim Diaz making his debut with the white jersey.

Even though he didn’t have a chance to play alongside Vinicius Junior because he is the player Diaz replaced, Brahim was able to enjoy more than ten minutes on the pitch and make his dream come true.

As we all saw during his presentation, Brahim Diaz is wearing the number ’21’ jersey and his debut was one of the big moments of the evening.

The player’s family boarded a bus that took all of them to the Bernabeu to watch their beloved Brahim play for the first time as a Real Madrid player, his family was led by his proud grandfather and many of his sisters.

This kid is the one who is making all his family very happy for living the dream that any footballer has, which is to make his debut as Los Blancos’ player.

When he got on the pitch, there wasn’t really much that Brahim was able to do. We did see him combining a few times with Isco, but he was quite nervous about being his first day and all.

Regardless of how inconsequential his debut at the Bernabeu was, absolutely nobody who knows the player doubts that Brahim Diaz is destined to do great things as a footballer.

As we have said before in our in-depth analysis, this is a player who resembles tremendously to Andres Iniesta’s style of play.

The moment Florentino Perez was tipped about this massive talent playing under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, he immediately started making inquiries about a possible transfer in the future.

Since Brahim started developing as a player at a very early age, the Real Madrid board of directors decided to act faster than any other club and snatched him from Manchester City by convincing him that he would have a starring role in the club.

Perez’s plans to build the new Real Madrid is officially underway with the arrivals of Vinicius and Diaz himself. The future may not look as bright on the short term, but having players this talented can change the landscape overnight for Los Blancos.

Spain v Norway - UEFA EURO 2020 Qualifier

Luis Enrique: We deserved to score 5 or 6 goals

Spain got off to a winning start in their UEFA EURO 2020 qualifying campaign with a 2-1 victory over Norway on Saturday night.

Brahim himself was very nervous and excited after the match, as he had just completed his debut with the most successful club in history and he had to say a few words to the press.

The youngster revealed some very interesting words that both Solari and Sergio Ramos shared with him during the big moment, the skipper was as demanding as ever and the boss was mostly reassuring when he approached Brahim right before he replaced Vinicius after the 75th minute.

“Solari asked me to enjoy myself and so what I know best. Real Madrid is the best club in the world,” said Brahim via Diario AS after his debut.

“Ramos congratulated me and he immediately told me that we have to start winning titles. He also asked me to stay true to myself and that I am going to have a lot of minutes in this club. Ramos is a top player and being able to play alongside him is very special.”

“We have to enjoy this because it’s a dream come true for me. This is an unforgettable day for me. This moment is huge.”

“I’m usually very calm, so I live my life very relaxed in general. I already know that I have to give my best to this fan base.”

“I am going to frame the jersey I wore today because it is an everlasting memory for me,” he concluded.
