Let’s talk about one of the brightest talents in Spanish football, the 19-year old Brahim Diaz who scored his debut goal for Real Madrid on Sunday afternoon.
Real Madrid suffered another defeat, losing 3-1 at Sociedad on Sunday, with Brahiam Diaz being the only light in the team, as he scored his debut goal for the club.
The teenager showed incredible performance and scored a brilliant solo goal, opening his scoring account in Spanish La Liga.
Head coach Zinedine Zidane praised the young midfielder after the game saying: “He played well. He’s a great, a fascinating player to watch. He is still young, so let’s see what happens next term. He played plenty of minutes and did well,” via the Real Madrid official website.

Brahim Diaz is born on August 3, 1999. He began his career at hometown club Malaga, but moved to Manchester City’s youth academy a few years later. The young midfielder made his professional debut for the Citizens in an EFL Cup game against Swansea at the age of 17.
The young midfielder appeared five times in the Premier League during the 2017-18 campaign, which was enough for him to receive a winners’ medal at the end of the season.
His debut goal for the Citizens came in an EFL Cup game against Fulham, netting both goals in a 2-0 victory in November 2018. However, the minutes he got from Pep Guardiola were not enough to convince Diaz to continue his stay at Manchester City, as his contract was due to expire at the end of the 2018-19 season.
Diaz refused several contract offers from the club, leaving City with the only option to sell him during the January transfer window. He moved to Real Madrid on January 6, for an initial fee of €17 million.
The youngster returned to Spain as a Premier League winner, making his La Liga debut in a 2-1 victory against Real Betis. It was his only appearance in the league before Zinedine Zidane’s return, but he missed only two games since the Frenchman’s arrival.
Brahim Diaz is a quick and technically gifted footballer who primarily plays as a playmaker. He is excellent with the ball, and possesses a great vision and passing range, which allows him to control the flow of the game.

He can also play wide thanks to his agility and close control, as he has shown over the last five games in the Spanish championship. The 19-year old provided an assist against Villarreal and scored his first goal in La Liga in the 3-1 defeat to Sociedad last weekend.
It was a real masterpiece form the teenager, as he received the ball midway through the opposition half, went past two defenders and beat Rulli after an incredible cutback inside the area, showing sublime football skills.
