Arsene Wenger emerged as the primary candidate to take over at Bayern, who sacked Niko Kovac just a couple of days ago.
With Ralf Rangnick declining the managerial position, everyone expected Wenger to take over.
However, Bild’s most reliable reporter, Christian Falk, published that the negotiations fell apart.
According to Bild sources, Rummenigge decided against Wenger’s appointment after their meeting.
It should be interesting to see who takes over the Bavarians.

Hansi Flick seems to be the prime candidate to stay in his position until the end of the season.
