Brendan Rodgers has committed his future to Leicester City after signing a new contract until 2025.

Brendan Rodgers has signed a new contract with Leicester City that will see him tied to the club until 2025.

The 46-year old has been constantly linked with Arsenal in recent weeks. But the Irishman has poured water over speculations after committing his future at King Power Stadium.

“When I made the decision to come to Leicester City, it was because I was excited about the direction the Club was taking and how I could apply my experience to the journey. I came here with a purpose to add something to that and to help the Club build for the future,” he said as per LCFC.com.

“I’ve inherited an outstanding team of staff that are dedicated to progress and improvement. And we have a group of players that are a joy to work with every day.”

Following the departure of Claude Puel, Leicester City appointed Brendan Rodgers at the beginning of this year. The Foxes finished 9th in the Premier League last season as Brendan Rodgers got limited time to steer them in the right direction.

But Leicester are flying high under Brendan Rodgers this season. They sit 2nd in the league table above the like of Manchester City and Chelsea. Moreover, Leicester have lost only twice in 15 Premier League outings and are seven points short of the top spot.
