Spanish sports publication Marca has just reported that Chinese football club Jiangsu Suning have a deal all but in place for Bale.

The pro-Real outlet has gone as far as to say that bar a few minor details, the deal is all but done.

While it had been widely disputed that China was out of the question.

There do not appear to be too many suitors. Liverpool’s Klopp clearly said no. Manchester United has entirely changed its strategy. There really weren’t many options.

It is believed that the Welsh man will earn in the region of 22 million euros after tax. This will be for the duration of a three-year contract.

While there is no mention of the transfer fee involved. It is not impossible that Madrid has simply written off the fee just to create room on the wage bill.

There was the talk of such a deal being struck with a Chinese buyer. The Chinese league has 100% taxation on all imported soccer player fees.

Real has saved a fortune, with his almost 600,000 euro a week wages.  Simply not having to pay him for the next three years, when he surplus to requirements is a deal in itself.

The Chinese A-League team, have never won the league. In fact, they have only ever won two cup trophies in their history.

They recently announced the arrival of Joao Miranda from Inter Milan too.

As with many of the teams in this league, they try to add an international influence and experience.  This team already boasts, former Chelsea man Ramires.
