Unai Emery’s problems have got worse after Dani Ceballos is ruled of the game against Leicester with an injury.
Emery and his Arsenal side face high flying Leicester City this weekend in the Premier League.
The Spaniard will be looking to field the strongest side possible in an attempt to not only get the win but put on a performance that convinces his doubters.
Whoever will be in that side though, it will not contain the in-form Dani Ceballos.
Ceballos limped off in the second half of Arsenal’s dismal draw with Vitoria in the Europa League.
The statement from the club on their official website, arsenal.com cited a hamstring injury.
The brief statement read:
“Dani Ceballos, Left hamstring. Sustained during the Vitoria (a) match on November 6. Currently being assessed, but will miss Saturday’s match at Leicester City.”
Ceballos was brought in during the summer transfer window on loan from Real Madrid.
He will be sorely missed by Unai Emery and his team.
