PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has been charged with criminal offenses in a matter related to giving “undue advantages” to a FIFA general secretary.

PSG’s Nasser Al-Khelaifi has had criminal charges brought against him by the Swiss government. The Qatar Sports Investment supremo was already under investigation for corruption.

These charges relate to the benefits he granted to former FIFA general secretary Jerome Valcke.

The documents leaked by journalist David Conn via Twitter, describe the rent-free use of a luxury villa. This is rumored to have a value of €900,000 and €1.8 million.

Al-Khelaifi is also the chairman of the TV Network beIN Sports media group.

The “undue advantages” are said to be related to television broadcasting rights negotiated between the two organizations.

According to AS, Valcke has already been banned from football for 12 years in what was described as “financial damage” he caused to FIFA.
