Virgil van Dijk has been withdrawn from the Netherlands squad due to ‘personal reasons.’
Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk will not feature in Netherland’s upcoming match against Estonia. The 28-year old has pulled out of his national side and will miss out on the final fixture ahead of EURO 2020.
The international break is proving to be a bad luck for Liverpool. Andy Robertson, Jordan Henderson, Gomez, Mohamed Salah, and Van Dijk all are out of their national teams.
Liverpool are maintaining an unbeaten run in the Premier League. So far, Liverpool have dropped points in only one out of the twelve matches. But the absence of key players such as Salah and VVD could be problematic for the Reds.
