Brentford star Said Benrahma says he is only thinking about the Championship play-off final. He is unfazed by reported interest from Premier League sides.
Benrahma has attracted interest from a number of Premier League sides but isn’t thinking about any of that now.
Over the past few months, the trio of Arsenal, Leicester City and Chelsea have been strongly linked to the 24-yer-old.
Benrahma has been one of the stars for Brentford as they find themselves one step from Premier League promotion.
The Bees will face Fulham at Wembley on Tuesday in a battle to claim the last available spot for promotion.
The Algerian winger has contributed to their quest for Premier League football with 17 goals and 10 assists in the Championship this season.
While the opportunity to play for one of the Premier League’s big guns lingers, Benrahma is only focused on Brentford at the moment.
“I’m not thinking about that at all at the moment,” he told Sky Sports News ahead of the final showdown. “I’m trying to put that to one side because I have a mission here, with a season to finish and a final to play.
“I’m on a mission for Brentford and I’m trying to do everything to help the club clinch promotion.”
Benrahma moved to Griffin Park from Ligue 1 club Nice in 2018, and his current deal at the club expires in June 2022.
