Magpies boss Steve Bruce has revealed what will he work with his team during the international break, as the team stands in the 14th place of the English Premier League.
Newcastle United is sitting in the 14th position of the English Premier League table with only four points after the same number of games.
And as the international break started, the team will take some time to work on details, according to manager Steve Bruce.
“[Joelinton] didn’t have much to feed off in terms of chances against Watford, but his all-round performance was excellent and you have to remember he only turned 23 last week,” Bruce told The Express.
“It always takes time and we haven’t seen a couple of the new signings yet. We’ve got a couple of weeks now to work on getting more of a threat at the top end of the pitch.”
The manager explained: “Big Joe is coming to terms with the move and I had a conversation with him about the difference between the Bundesliga and the Premier League and he just had a wry smile and said it’s not quite the same.”
“He is learning and I’ve been delighted with him the last couple of weeks, he has looked a big, big threat.”
“For all the nonsense, it’s a great club and I’ve really enjoyed it,” he said.
“You’ve got to take the stuff that comes with it, but I’ve been around a long time and I’ve really enjoyed the last seven and a half weeks.”
