Jake Livermore scored the 92nd-minute winner against Tottenham Hotspur and it means that West Bromwich Albion are still alive – but they need three other results to go their way and the things are not in their hands.

It has been a very disappointing season for West Bromwich Albion and the Baggies are very likely to be relegated – but Chris Brunt is happy that his team gave their fans at least something to be happy for.

The West Brom player spoke about his side’s situation as he said, according to Express and Star:

“I think it’s important to give something back to the fans – to make them feel proud of their club.”

“Regardless of the results throughout this season the fans have just kept coming back and the atmosphere today again was great.”

“That was as loud a crowd as we’ve probably had this season and they were willing us on to the final whistle.”

“Thankfully we were able to give them something to go home shouting about.”

“No matter what results turn up in the remainder of this season at least we ended the season at home on a positive and that gives us something to look forward to going into next season.”
