Juventus legend Gianluigi Buffon believes his old club are the team that nobody wants to meet in the Champions League this season

The Bianconeri are hoping to confirm their place as Group H winners tonight at Switzerland against bottom-side BSC Young Boys.

Speaking ahead of the match tonight, manager Massimiliano Allegri warned his side to take the already eliminated Young Boys seriously with Juventus having everything to lose.

But, with the addition of Cristiano Ronaldo in their ranks, Buffon is certain that Juventus are the best in Europe.

Moise Kean scores his first goal for the Azzurri

Moise Kean started his first game for the Italian national team, scoring in the 2-0 victory over Finland.

“Juve is the strongest team of the Champions League? Yes, Juventus has given very precise indications of great strength, but not even in the last few years we have seen a team as strong as this in terms of mentality,” said Buffon, according to Calcio Mercato.

“Plus Cristiano Ronaldo has also been added, it is clear that Juve is the team that everyone would never want to meet.”

Buffon himself left Juventus in the summer, after 17 years, in favour of a free transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Italian goalkeeper started in goal as PSG defeated Red Star Belgrade 4-1 away on Tuesday night to emerged as Group C winners.
