Rafa Benitez believes that Burnley’s Europa League run has affected their Premier League form negatively.

Burnley are currently 16th in the league table after finishing 7th last season and Benitez thinks their drop in performance is due to their Europa League campaign, which they started as early as July.

“I have had this experience (of Europe) and it is quite difficult to manage, but you have to adapt,” Benitez told Sky Sports.

“Burnley are a strong team at home and maybe it is because they have had a difficult run against some top teams.

Ramsey to return to action for Arsenal in ‘2 or 3 weeks’

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has downplayed fears they may have seen the last of Aaron Ramsey by stating that he will return to the action in "two or three weeks"

“Sean Dyche did a great job last season and I think he is quite a strong character. They will want to get three points against us because we are close in the table and the pressure is more or less the same.

“Burnley are physically stronger and I think it will be a very different test.

“I’m sure it will be because of the way they played against us last season, and I think it will be similar to this one.”
