Sergio Busquets and Gerard Pique have reacted to the disappointment of Barcelona’s entire week including the Copa Del Rey elimination.
The week from hell just got worse for Barcelona.
It was capped off with a shambolic loss to Athletico Bilbao, which saw the Catalan giants eliminated from the Copa Del Rey.
Club stalwarts Sergio Busquets and Gerard Pique have faced the press, and they admit the week has been difficult.
Busquets though is focused on winning La Liga and the Champions League.
While Pique has had enough of people slinging mud and just wants to focus on results.
The pair were interviewed after the match, according to AS they are disappointed in the result, but unified in their goal to succeed.
“It’s a fateful result with the good work we had done.
“It is a sad day for everyone, we did not want to be eliminated.”
“We have two competitions in which we have to keep fighting.”
“We have to continue, we have done things well, sometimes.”
“We are leaving the Cup in an unfortunate play.”
Pique wants the mudslingers to back off.
“In the dressing room, the union is maximum.”
“It is a hard blow and happy about how we reacted to this blow.”
“It is hard for elimination, but we must remain are positive.”
“Throwing things in our face does not help.”
“You have to focus on the game and win, we must return to that path.”
‘”We have plenty of capacity to win and that’s what we are in.”
