Fabio Capello tells fellow Italian Massimiliano Allegri to be patient and take the job at Manchester United.

Allegri has been linked with the vacant position at Bayern Munich since the sacking of Niko Kovac.

Allegri’s record speaks for itself, after winning five Serie A titles, four Coppa Italias and two Italian Super Cups in five seasons with Juventus.

Interestingly enough, he is the manager who got some the best football out of Paul Pogba too.

He has been continuously linked with taking the reigns at Manchester United for over a year now.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been promised time, but how much remains t be seen.

United are currently 10th in the league, and closer in points to the relegation zone than the top four.

According to the Daily Mail, Italian managerial legend Fabio Capello would go to United if he had the choice.

‘He’d be a good fit at Bayern Munich, although I don’t know how welcome Italians are in Germany after Ancelotti,’ he told Italian station Radio Anch’io Sport.

‘England’s exciting, there’s the possibility of working well and the Premier League is a championship that enriches you. If I was Allegri, I’d go to Manchester.’
