Carragher has some good news for Arsenal fans

The former English Premier League footballer believes Arsenal will have a good 2019-2020 season thanks to the summer transfer window.

According to English Premier League legend, Jaime Carragher, the Arsenal fans should be happy.

He believes the team made the right decisions during the summer transfer window.

“I’m looking at Arsenal,” he told The Mirror.

“Not so much as in I think they are going to challenge for the title, I still think they will be there or thereabouts in the top four.”

He explained: “But when you think about the pessimism after the Europa League final and how far they were away from Chelsea in that game.”

“And there is talk of £40m to spend which isn’t a great deal of money.”

Daniel James almost gave up on football

Manchester United's new signing, Daniel James, spent seven years in the Hull Academy, but one day he almost gave up on football.

“You could look at at it and think maybe Arsenal are being clever telling people that they had £40m to spend,” he added.

“I don’t know what they’ve actually spent, they have got the Iwobi money back so maybe it is around that figure.”

“But they seem to have done a lot of business and come out a lot healthier than people, certainly Arsenal fans were fearing,” Carragher concluded.
